Sorry I've been away for awhile. It's been busy around here. The day after Easter, we found out that the people who had purchased our home was backing out of the contract. The husband lost his job and they were unsure if he would be able to find another job, so they canceled the contract :(.
That meant that we had to back out on our contract for the house that we had fallen in love with ( which I have a ton of pictures that I was going to share with everyone last week until this all happened), and had to put our house back on the market. That is a huge drudgery for me since it means keeping the house in tip top shape at all times. 4 kids, 2 dogs and a cat make it hard to keep our small 1200 square foot home clean at all times. One little mess makes the whole thing look trashed. We're hoping for a quick re-selling in the next couple of weeks.
Then Saturday we flew to see friends of our's the Stamms, and had a fabulous time. Kristen took lots of pictures (and I took a couple), and so I will share some later in the week. Matthew decided to get a cough in the plane on the way there and that WAS NOT a fun experience. Coughing and Matthew do not mix. Matthew has a sensitive gag reflex and any time he coughs he also vomits. Doesn't make for a fun combo on a cramped FULL flight. He shared his cold with Cayman too, which wasn't very nice.
We flew in late last night and I have a mountain of laundry to catch up on. Thankfully Matthew is doing better and we avoided a hospital stay due to vomiting.
Nothing exciting this week, but I will try to post some pictures of our super fun weekend!

So sorry about you house :(
Some friends of mine who live a few houses down from me just had the same thing happen to them.
Hopefully you (and them) will be able to sell your house soon!
Glad you had fun with the Stamm's!
Glad to hear you had a fun trip, with the exception of the coughing fit. But glad it didn't turn into anything serious.
I will be praying that you will get on offer on the house really soon.

A super fun weekend it was!! I hope Matthew gets over his cold quickly and with no pneumonia setting in.
Cayman's doing fine with her cold...no problem. Just a stuffy, runny nose.
We did lots of bouncing with Cayman after each bite of food just like you started along with cheering, "yay, you did it, you did it, you did it!" Mike loved it and thought it was hilarious. But soon enough, it was not enough to keep her eating. This morning, I gave her a bite, she puffed out her cheeks, pursed her lips and stayed like that for a few seconds. I said to her, "what are you doing?" and as soon as I asked it she spit the food out this time with great force going all over me, her, and the couch! Oh she's so ornery. Terrible two's for sure!
I'm praying your house sells quickly!
I have to tell you, the comment you left me on my post today, made me smile real big!!
I love you my precious friend!
Hi there! I'm Susan Otte, we met when you came over to our house to see Quinn's stroller, I have to say that Matthew looks great in his. I hope you love it as much as we do. I've been praying for you this winter, since I know it's been tough. I read your blog and Caymen's all the time. My question is - where do you find the pellets to put in your weighted blankets? I've been buying weighted blankets and they are expensive. I have not found anyone who knows where we can buy them. Thanks so much. Oh hey, if you ever want to check out Quinn's blog it is - http://quinnotte.blogspot.com
Take care and know there are lots of us out here praying for you! Glad you had fun with the Stamm's! You both have amazing families!
Susan Otte
