I saw Dr. Kenney today here in Lincoln as Dr. Bonebrake in Omaha was out of the office Thursday and Friday. It saved us a trip to Omaha, which was nice. They were also having our bake sale at the hospital, so we were able to stop in after our appointment and say hi to the girls! The appointment went well; his head circumference was 40 cm, up just a cm and his ventricles were 33mm's, up just a mm. My fluid level around the baby was steady in the 3o's (there's a lot of fluid in there!!, if my water breaks at home, we'll be in BIG trouble!!) We got 3d pics of him, he's head down again-which, by the way, only happens when we see Dr Kenney; it the most bizarre thing. So being head down, he looks kinda smooshed on the pic's. They estimated his weight at 7lbs 11oz already! He'll be a big boy! No wonder I'm so uncomfortable!! Next appointment will be with Dr. Bonebrake on Thursday the 15th. I also got permission to be up and around for a total of 4 hours a day, that makes this "bedrest" thing much more tolerable, I can do a couple loads of laundry if the kids haul it and maybe run a short errand and wash dishes. It's keeping me sane!
Here's his picture; remember, he's REALLY smooshed in there and he had his umbilical cord up by his face, so it's not the greatest pic, but I just LOVE seeing him. He's got pudgy cheeks!
