God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with special needs doesn't TAKE a special family, it MAKES a special family.

Back again....
Just a quick post to let you all know that Matthew is very sick (again) and back in the hospital. We came yesterday afternoon by ambulance. I don't have a lot of answers and we're unsure of what is wrong. This stay so far has been VERY frustrating to me and I am close to my breaking point. There has been a huge lack of communication and initiating of plan of care for Matthew and we're not sure exactly what is causing him to be so sick. I will update when I know more

OH - NO!!!! I am SO sorry to hear that Matthew is still very sick. I have been thinking of you every day and keep checking your post for news. This is NOT what I was expecting to read. You must be exhausted from everything that has been going on. My prayers for you will be for patience, peace, health, medical knowledge, and courage for you and your family to keep going!
Happy Sabbath and an abundance of God's love for you and Matthew!

I was tearing up when I read your post and then the tears fell when I read Micah's comment. What a sweet boy he is for writing you such a loving message. Oh Jill, your family is so sweet and I wish nothing more than for you to all be together tonight at home, healthy and happy gathering around the table for a game night or around the TV for a movie night. I will not stop praying! Surely God has something good in store with all of this. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Our prayers are with you, as always.
Praying for dear Matthew and for all of you!
Oh, Jill! This was not the news we hoped to find when we stopped by your blog. We are holding you and Matthew and your family...and the Doctors...up in prayer.

Praying for Matthew & your family. I also pray for you & Matthew to get what you need from the doctors!
I was glad to read your facebook update. At least you know what you are dealing with. Praying hard for you all! I know it's hard, but keep us updated and get yourself a coffee :) Hang in there. Love and prayers,
