God doesn't give children with special
needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to
ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child
with special needs doesn't TAKE a special family, it MAKES a special
family.

A song that touched my heart today
I have never heard this song before. I heart it today as I was sitting here next to Matthew. I felt God especially speaking to both of us through this. I think I will play it often today. If you are looking for my update for today, it is below.
I can totally see why this song feels so special to you and you'd play it all day. It is beautiful and the words are so meaningful. God's not done yet with Matthew.
Hey Soldatkes Just want you to know that lots of prayers are being said for your family. Enjoy this verse I like to read!
Isaiah 40:18-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Jill, I am Cayman's Great Aunt Linda. I want you to know I am praying for God to touch Matthew. God knows exactly where Matthew and you are and will supply your every need.
Jill, I am a blogging friend of Kristen's and the cousin of Lisa (Elisabeths mommy if you know her) I want you to know that both your family and your little neighbor's family will be in our prayers tonight. When my 14 year old son was 4 he had Luekemia. I don't pretend to know what you are going through but I can understand how long and lonley and scary those prolonged hospital stays can get. Give Matthew big kisses and hugs and tell him to get better soon.

I am thinking and praying for you all.
Nope I didn't show Cayman a spider. Hopefully I am training her to not be like me. :-)
